New Roads School Master Plan

The vision of the New Roads School is to liberate young individuals through the pursuit of justice, equity, and opportunity; raising generations of powerfully compassionate advocates in an intellectual habitat driven by authentic diversity — ultimately empowering them to disrupt systems that produce inequality and build a more just future.

Plural worked with architects, Perkins & Will, to develop a K-12 campus Master Plan for the New Roads School in Santa Monica, California. Inspired by the school’s strong vision, Plural worked with Perkins & Will to lead a series of visioning meetings with a diverse group of school leaders and student groups. The team worked closely to incorporate existing buildings and open spaces with new buildings and open spaces in order to preserve the existing beloved character of the campus.
