Dutch Flohr Park

Santa Rosa, CA

We are working with the City of Santa Rosa, the adjacent community, and the adjacent elementary school to reinvision Dutch Flohr Neighborhood Park. The work within this beloved neighborhood park will include two new playgrounds, new adult fitness spaces, and new park infrastructure.

With several mature trees, the design looks to build on the existing beauty of the site which is situated in an established community wrapped by the Santa Rosa Creek. The playground design is inspired by the adjacent creek and the California drought, using boulders and natural materials to create a dynamic play space and educational opportunities to discuss water and resource management in a playful setting.
